Filipino-American, hyperpop-adjacent, genre-allergic. Called the Powerpuff Girls of hyperpop alongside Jane Remover and Ninajirachi — Underscores brings her bedroom-built world to Vancouver.
Blending hyperpop, indie rock, EDM, and internet-era experimentation, the Los Angeles-based producer has built a devoted following through emotionally charged songwriting and boundary-pushing production.
Known for high-energy live performances and a sound that refuses to fit neatly into any genre, Underscores represents the next generation of electronic artists creating entirely new lanes for themselves.
