DJ Zach Shore - Saturday Night Resident

Zach Shore started his DJ career over 10 years ago in a studio created by his father who was once a DJ himself. Playing underground parties Zach adopted his own pliable style and became one of the most flexible house music DJs tailoring his energetic sets to his audiences and clubs. His style has graced countless dance floors and wowed thousands of club goers. Some people say DJing is in his blood.

Since perfecting his own DJing style, Zach is aggressively developing on the production side of music. His underground dance remixes have been getting the nod of approval from his audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest and has been recognized by local artist and DJ's. His music selection and the moods he creates captivates audiences and keeps them coming back for more.

Zach's "day-job" as a media producer allows him to create soundtracks for video and animations for companies throughout North America. This fusion of talent is what makes DJ Zach Shore such a highly respected DJ.

DJ Dan James - Saturday Night Resident

Celebrities’ longest running Saturday night resident Dj, Dan James has become a staple of Saturday nights at the club. Dan has had his ear tuned to the sound electronic music for over a decade now. His experience and dedication to North American underground dance culture has made him an excellent music trend spotter and remixer.

Dan stared Djing in the late 90s as Vancouver came into its own on the world stage of dance music.  Early on in the underground party scene of the afterhours and rave culture Dan learned to Dj for a wide variety of audiences.  Never one to stick to one genre, sub-genre or style, Dan has an extensive love of classic house beats, driving bass lines, syths & rifts.

Over the years Dan has made a name for himself in many circles, playing at some of Vancouver’s hottest night spots like Shine, 816 Granville & events like pride, ski week.  He has had the opportunity to play alongside big names like Peter Rauhofer, Junior Vasquez & Chris Cox to name a few.  With guest spots in other major urban centres, Dan has carved out a niche in the western half of North America as a Dj of choice for any club event big or small.

DJ Ryan Bazeley - Saturday Night Resident

Ryan Bazeley got his start as a DJ on the mean streets of San Francisco. As a self-proclaimed music geek with a lifetime of love for electronic music behind him, going into DJing was an obvious choice (plus Ryan is a terrible dancer so this would give him something to do at the club).

Within a week of buying his turntables Ryan already had his first booking and quickly earned himself a spot at some of San Francisco's top clubs, including Qoöl, 1015 Folsom, and DNA Lounge, as well as a residency at the now extinct Future Fridays. Although he was a rising star in San Francisco's progressive house scene, he was offered a residency at Club Faith (San Francisco's only 18+ gay nightclub) with one condition: "You're a big queen, play like one." Ryan quickly adapted his style for the gay crowds ... combining a cutting-edge electro sound with powerful vocals and big-room anthems, and became a mainstay in San Francisco's gay club scene and found himself sharing the decks with the likes of Barry Harris, Chris Cox and Tracey Young.

In 2004, Ryan returned to Vancouver and immediately landed gigs at Celebrities and The World. Although in 2008, Ryan parted amicably from The World (because he doesn't like staying up past his bed time), Ryan continues to rock the Vancouver crowds as a resident at Celebrities' Release Saturdays alongside sexies Zach Shore and Dan James.

DJ DARYLO - Tuesday Night Resident

DARYLO is an example of some of the fine DJ talent that Canada has been steadily producing over the past 5 years. Seen hanging with A-listers such as Lindsay Lohan, Pete Tong, DJ AM, DJ Mehdi and Diplo and following in the experienced footsteps of DJ's Kevin Scott, Scotty Boy, Spider and Spryte, DARYLO is shaping himself up into a stellar quality DJ.

[We'll now continue with some serious DJ BIO Clichés]…

With a failed attempt as a nightclub BusBoy at the age of 20, DARYLO gave Dj'ing a shot. After only dj'ing for 3 months at the same nightclub, he was unexpectedly thrown into a Saturday gig when their current resident quit. Armed with 31 burnt cd’s (ranging from Bone-Thugs, to ATB, Blink 182, and the "Usher – Yeah" single), a tray-loading Denon cd player, and complimentaryin-flight "Air Canada 3000" headphones, he was on his way. DARYLO spent 4 months there under the dj name d.lo (not that anyone ever asked), and then took a 6 month hiatus to manage a new club, but continued to make a mix cd series titled "LA Gangster Pool Party". In May 2005, DARYLO had a one-time playing interview at Vancouver most-prestigious club, Caprice (www.capricenightclub.com) and his dj career got a little more serious…

In the past 3 years at Caprice, DARYLO has dj'd the biggest parties the city has seen, and has become arguably Western Canada's Most Versatile dj. Being one of maybe 4 djs in Vancouver that play more than 1 genre ("Call on Me and Journey" don’t make a hiphop dj "versatile" / "Usher Yeah" doesn’t make a house dj "versatile"), DARYLO has been asked to play and hold a monthly residency @ ‘Rok Box’ @ Tabu Ultra Lounge in the MGM Hotel, Las Vegas. DARYLO's talent of being able to incorporate any song into a set (and he does mean ANY) has made him stand out like a "6 foot tall kid in grade 3" from other dj’s. In terms of a particular style or flare that would peg DARYLO, it's hard to pigeon-hole him to anyone genre. He himself has coined his style as "ELECTRO, GLAM and HYPHY", or basically "Whatever the hell I want".

Acknowledged as one of THE FIRST DVJ's on the Canadian West Coast, DARYLO enjoys integrating his sets with his video mixes to spice things up and he has been capturing the attention of the powerhouses in the industry. After winning last summer’s "BullPen" on Crooklyn Clan's The Vault, DARYLO recently joined an elite group of DJ's in Crooklyn Clan's Crack4DJ's (www.crack4djs.net). DARYLO's work can now be downloaded and used by other DJ's to enhance or beef up their sets (WARNING: use at your own discretion!) DARYLO also remixes and edits for Kevin Scott’s, Direct Music Service (FatWax, ReRuns, Crates Savers, Fill in the Gap), available at www.directmusicservice.com. He also enjoys equipment sponsorship from ODYSSEY DJ GEAR.

He is a versatile deejay who prides himself on the ability to pull music from all genres and throw them into a remix that quite often has a rocky edge to it. DARYLO's "Face Down Sex" remix has gotten "more play than Britney Spears", from heavyweights like Dj AM, Vice, Kevin Scott, DiscoTech, A-Trak; while being featured on many of their mix cds. Some of the Old School remixes from Foreigner and The Beatles, "Cold As Ice Like That" and "Hello Goodbye Grindin" prove that it "doesn’t need to include Fatman Scoop or Lil Jon to make you hyped".

Dubbed, "Vancouver’s Golden Boy" by the Vancouver nightlife scene, he has a got a sense of humor. On his MySpace page (www.myspace.com/djdarylo), DARYLO refers to himself as a one-man-band, "I am THE band Yoko!!!!! - 2 technics mk5 - DVJ 1000-x - Pioneer DJM800 - 15" MacBook Pro - Serato Scratch Live - and I shit u not... I rock all those at once".

DJ Bertossi

Bertossi is the newest and hottest young DJ coming out of the Vancouver. Having being thrown into the scene in Spring 2007, his long list of credits is already pretty impressive. After spining in Mykonos, Greece and playing multiple gigs over Pride 07 he was picked up by CanThrill entertainment for the Envy My Music series, people stood up and took notice of this hot young talent right away. Gigs at Celebrities, Shine, 1181 & The Majestic soon followed. As well, Bertossi became a Saturday night resident at the world famous afterhours 816:the World.

Mixing hard tribal, with high energy vocals, and even throwing in an anthem or two, DJ Bertossi's sets always full of his own edits and remixes that leave the crowd jumping, screaming and wanting more! Local promoters, and event organizers are taking notice as well. But DJ Bertossi's sound can translate to any scene he is thrown into, which is what makes this DJ stand out from the rest. Being able to play for whatever situation he's put in, is one of his many gifts. He can feel out the crowd, and give them what they want, or what they didn't know they wanted.

DJ Denny Kindel - Wednesday Night Resident

Originally from Burnaby, Kindel moved to Doncaster, England to play professional soccer with Doncaster Rovers FC. It was there in Doncaster, at age 16 that he was introduced to his first club experience chanting the sounds of "Back In My Life" and "Better Off Alone". Where he quickly became addicted to the music of top 40 house.

At age 19 he moved back to YVR, where he first started playing his own style of music. Over the last few years Kindel started to learn a new formula from some of Vancouvers most prominent Dj's such as Dj Bauer and Drewtopia. Kindel quickly grew and popped up playing in some of Vancouver's finest clubs like Odyssey and Celebrities.

Largely influenced by top 40 house, he still has the ability to rock any crowd with electro-house, rock, and classic 80's. His talent has got him where he wants to be today and he thinks "thats Awesome!"
